Water damage can occur in a variety of ways. Sometimes the damage will only need minor repairs; other times, the damage is significant. No matter the size of the disaster, SERVPRO does it all. Last week we had horrible storms blow through our River Region. As a result, several homes and businesses suffered water damage, and a few had fire damage. SERVPRO of Montgomery received multiple calls from our community asking for help. Our crews worked tirelessly throughout the night and the weekend to aid everyone that we could. Our team was all hands-on deck assisting our community so everyone could return to normalcy as soon as possible.

Recently we received a call that a commercial building needed our emergency water restoration services. Our team was dispatched to the scene. An overhead sprinkler had been triggered due to a small fire on the 12th floor of the building. As a result, all twelve stories were saturated with water, including the hallways and stairwells. We extracted any standing water and then brought in drying equipment to begin the drying process. Air movers and dehumidifiers were strategically placed in affected areas to remove the moisture from the materials. SERVPRO employees worked non-stop for three days until we had restored the building to its previous state.

We also had multiple homes that needed our emergency water services. One house had rainwater pour in through their bedroom. When our crews arrived, they removed all carpet & padding, drywall, baseboards, and insulation in the room. Once all the affected materials were taken out, SERVPRO technicians placed drying equipment inside. After just a few days, the restoration process was complete!
