Halcyon Storm Damage

A standing house is no match for a large falling tree limb. This storm damage in Halcyon resulted from a sustained wind gust that was too much for this old tree to handle. The broken gutter and eaves, along with the busted open roof sheathing allowed for rainwater to enter that same day. Luckily, the water damage from the effects of the storm was not severe. The water was removed from the damaged area, and a tarp was secured to the roof until permanent repairs could be made. Preventing further wetness, while using equipment to remove moisture and humidity from the interior of the home, mitigated expenses for the owner.
