Montgomery Water Damage to a Church

A burst water line flooded the floor of this church in Montgomery. There were sufficient volumes of water to move the pews so that the water extraction would be easier and also to mitigate secondary damage from wicking water into the wooden legs of the benches. This photo depicts the final stages of the water extraction after the equipment had been removed and a pathway set up to reset the seating. It was very fortunate that carpeting was not the floor covering as shown in the second picture of a church with installed pews. The clean up and sanitizing was done, and the church was ready for its next scheduled service.
